Drifters Could Monitor Ocean Radiation From Japan


Marine Scientists are concerned with the amount of radiation coming from the nuclear plant.  Radioactive debris from Japan could drift to the U.S. Coast in three years.  Scientists want to deploy drifters to moniter radiationn and debris in the Ocean from Japan's plant.  Currently there is no effective way to monitor the radiation, say researchers.
